WNBA GMs Pick Bueckers Over Clark, Wilson

The 2026 WNBA GM Survey results show a surprising shift in opinion, with 33% of general managers selecting 2025 Rookie of the Year Paige Bueckers as the player they would build a team around. Bueckers edged out reigning MVP A'ja Wilson and 2024 Rookie of the Year Caitlin Clark, who tied for second place with 20% each. Last year, Clark had received 50% of the votes in this category.

The survey also revealed the Las Vegas Aces as the favorites to repeat as champions (40%), while Wilson is expected to win MVP again (60%). Dallas was recognized for making the best offseason moves (47%), with Angel Reese and Gabby Williams tied as the player acquisitions expected to make the biggest impact (27% each). wlop.pl
