Jury seated in Diggs assault trial

A jury of seven has been seated for former New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs' assault trial on charges of felony strangulation.

At Dedham District Court, six women and one man were selected as jurors for the trial that Judge expects to last "two or three days." Diggs faces charges of felony strangulation or suffocation and misdemeanor assault and battery related to an alleged incident at his Dedham home on December 2, 2025, where he reportedly struck a former private chef during a dispute over unpaid wages.

The 32-year-old, who was released by the Patriots in March and is now a free agent, has pleaded not guilty to all charges. During pretrial hearings, defense attorneys successfully argued to exclude references to a prior alleged incident that could explain why the victim delayed reporting the assault for two weeks. sos-zagle.org.pl
